Flathead Art Exhibit in Pincher Creek

The Flathead Art Exhibit is headed to Pincher Creek, Alberta's gateway to Waterton National Park and the Flathead River Valley. Please join us on the last stop of the exhibit's Southern Alberta tour. The exhibit will be on display at the Lebel Gallery from November 1 to 22, with a public opening to be held on November 8 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

Please join us for a stunning glimpse into B.C.'s wildest valley.

The exhibit was born in the summer of 2012, when 10 scientists and six artists descended on the Flathead to document its rare species and explore its natural beauty.

The trip resulted in 13 paintings from the Flathead, a region that has been described as one of the most ecologically important places on the planet.  The exhibit includes works from BC- based artists Laura Nelson, Tara Higgins, Joseph Cross, Denise Lemaster, and Simon Haiduk. It also features works from renowned Jackson Hole-based artist Dwayne Harty.
