Biodiversity, Climate Change & The Flathead Valley

Come join world renowned naturalist and wilderness explorer Brian Keating of CBC Radio & "Going Wild" give a special presentaion on biodiversity, special places and falling in love with the wilderness. 

The Royal BC Musem's Richard Hebda will speak to his research on Climate Change in the Crown of the Continent areas and the Flathead River Basin. 

Keating joined a team of biological researchers that traveled in to BC's Flathead River Valley to document the biological diversity for the 4th annual Flathead Bioblitz. We will screen a short video about the 2015 Bioblitz to give folks an idea about what they got up to and what they found.

The Flathead River Valley is in the Ktunaxa First Nations traditional territory. 
This event takes place on the Coast Saalish territory of the Songhees and Esquimalt First Nations.
